Letters from the Troops
From time to time, we will post letters from our heroes. When you read the letters, please note that any identifiable information has been removed. At Proud Patriots, we believe that if we’re able to Google someone’s information---so can terrorists. Our primary concern is the safety and welfare of our heroes.
Any use or reprinting of the letters below is prohibited without written permission.
Proud Patriots:
Thanks for taking time out to email me. I could only imagine how busy you are. I consider it a blessing to have people like you and the Proud Patriots' helping us complete our mission. If I have anything to do with it you people will NOT be the unsung heroes of this War. Without organizations like Proud Patriots' we could not do what we do.
The most popular request from my Marines is AT&T calling cards.
They were also asking for a small Christmas tree. What I would like to do is put a calling card in the Christmas bags that I have, and give it to them on Christmas day. I know that they would really appreciate it.
Attached is a roster of my people.
Again, thanks for all that you and your people are doing for the men and women in our United States Military. Take care, God Bless, and keep in touch.

I am SGT. H. and I would like to thank you on the behalf of the soldiers of the (unit information removed). I received a package from the Proud Patriots, Inc. which contained many generous gifts to include DVDs. I ensure that the soldiers in my unit pass these around so everyone will get to view them. Once again, thank you it means a lot to us soldiers to know that America supports us.

Proud Patriots,
We received your Halloween box with the candy bags and DVDs/CDs yesterday. Everything you sent was consumed rather quickly and the Soldiers and leaders of the 543rd are very appreciative of you and your organizations' kind gestures.
It is absolutely awesome that folks such as yourselves take the time out of your very busy schedules to organize and execute the things you do at Proud Patriots for the benefit of Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen most of which you don't even know.
So, once again please let the entire staff of volunteers at Proud Patriots know we are very thankful for your continued support.

Proud Patriots:
Thank you for all that you have done. We are leaving shortly (very shortly), but I can't say when. Please don't send letters or anything, we will not receive them in time. I'm sorry that this took so long to get to you, but I was able to sneak home for a couple of days for my first child's birth. I can't wait to see them both. Anyway I wanted to say thank you for everything that you have done for my guys and myself. You have made a Soldiers' life a little easier and we greatly appreciate that. Take care and stay safe.

Proud Patriots:
Thanks a lot for the support. I will tell you, although I am sure you already know, that care packages really do make a difference for young soldiers. Everyone enjoys getting something in the mail and those packages gets a young man's or woman's mind off of negative aspects of being in combat.
What you and the rest of the volunteers in your organization do really is admirable,
One again, thank you so very much.

Proud Patriots:
I would just like you to know that from the bottom of my heart I appreciate everything that you and all of the proud patriots do. I wish that all of you could see the look on peoples faces when they get a box and open it up. It is like opening presents at Christmas. I know I am the same way. They really help when we are out to sea especially. They help pass the time and keep your mind off of missing your family and loved ones back home.
Thank you again!

Proud Patriots:
I wanted to take the time to thank you for everything you are doing for my Sailors and myself. We greatly appreciate the packages. Like I said, it is like Christmas time here when they come in. It puts smiles on their faces, and helps them to forget where they are for a while. It is also an incredible thing to make them feel appreciated for what they do, and the sacrifices that they make. Thank you so much for that.
Thank you again for everything you do. Please pass my heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in your organization.
Best wishes and warmest regards

Proud Patriots:
I would like to take a moment and personally thank you and your organization for what you are doing. This is my third deployment and usually my soldiers and myself spend a lot of money buying stuff to help pass the time. Your graciousness has helped us all by connecting us back to the real world. You and your organization are a true testament to the American spirit. I wish you all the best of luck in life and may god bless you and all of your families.

I would like to take the time to thank you for sending us some
goodies, cd's and dvd's for our troops here in Kuwait. We process
wounded soldiers from all branches, and about a month ago you graciously
sent some donations. On behalf of our wounded soldiers, and the staff here
at the (unit information removed) I would like to extend our gratitude to your organization
and all it stands for. Our Commander has sent a letter with a picture of
our current rotation staff.
Thank you again and God Bless
