Proud Patriots is a group of private Americans who are working to ensure that our brave military heroes receive the support we believe they deserve. We began as a group of friends who love our country and our military. We started sending care packages, e-mails, and snail mail to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Once others became aware of what we were doing, they started asking for names and they began to tell others. We soon learned that there were many more who wanted to help, they just weren't sure how to go about doing it. The goal of Proud Patriots is to get schools, churches, synagogues, businesses and the public involved as well.

We send care packages, e-mail, and snail mail to our troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as individuals stationed in several other countries and on deployed ships. Knowing that people back home are thinking about them brightens their day.

The items that we send to our troops are requests that they send to us. Some of the items are very basic such as spices and batteries, others are requests to help our troops live as close to home as possible like CD players, music and games, and even chocolate. While we gladly accept all forms of donations, please review our list of the most needed items to insure that you contributions make the most impact.

Proud Patriots is a Tax-Exempt Organization

We at Proud Patriots provide a centralized network of support for our military and their families. Proud Patriots, while not directly affiliated with the military, currently supports all of the military branches including the National Guard and the Reservists. Donations to Proud Patriots are shipped to these various units as a show of support from their fellow Americans. These units are in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Africa. While our area of support is ever growing and continuous, we run campaigns throughout the year on the Holidays to spread the joys to our men and women across the world.
